The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, as an international event, has put forward high standards and innovative requirements for temporary facilities. In this context, the steel structure construction party adopts container houses as a temporary building solution to meet the diverse needs during the event, while responding to the green and sustainable Olympic concept.

Low carbon and environmentally friendly technology: The design and construction of container houses adopt low-carbon and environmentally friendly technology to ensure a warm and spring like indoor environment even in extremely cold weather. After the competition, it can be recycled and reused to reduce the impact on the environment.

Rapid construction and efficient utilization: Starting from October 1st, a temporary complex was built using 27 containers in just one week, demonstrating extremely high construction efficiency.

Multifunctionality and flexibility: Container rooms can be used as live broadcast rooms, audio control rooms, commentator seats, timing and scoring machine rooms during competitions, and can be converted into other uses after competitions, such as smart coffee convenience stores, park book bars, etc., to achieve multifunctionality and flexibility.

Technological innovation and insulation heating: Faced with the extremely cold weather in the alpine skiing center competition area, the project team used technological innovation to combine graphene heating film with indoor floor and wall paving technology to form underfloor heating and wall heating configurations, ensuring that the indoor temperature meets the requirements.

Green Olympic concept: All temporary facilities have taken into account the post competition reuse needs, reflecting the concept of green Olympic management, integrating sustainability and low-carbon concepts into the entire design and construction process.

This project not only provides necessary temporary facilities for the Winter Olympics, but also showcases China's innovative capabilities in green building and sustainable development. By using container houses, the project has reduced construction waste and resource consumption, contributing to the sustainable development of the region.

With the successful completion of the project, the steel structure construction container house project for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics will become a model for the construction of temporary facilities for future large-scale events, promoting the application of green building and sustainable development concepts in a wider range of fields.
